• The product you wish to return
• The reason for the return, if you wish to provide one

We will provide you with the information needed to complete the return.

Returned products should be:

• Unused
• Unworn
• In their original condition
• Free from damage, stains or signs of use
• Returned with original packaging where reasonably possible

You may inspect a product in the same way you would in a physical shop.

• If a product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, you may be responsible for any reduction in its value.

Unless the product is defective, incorrect or otherwise covered by a legal remedy, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning a product when exercising the statutory right of withdrawal.
If MADLEMON has sent you an incorrect or defective product, please contact us before returning it so that we can provide the appropriate instructions.

Once your return has been received and processed, we will issue the applicable refund in accordance with European and Italian consumer protection law.
The refund will normally include:

• The price paid for the returned product
• The cost of the standard delivery option originally selected, where required by law

Additional delivery costs resulting from choosing a more expensive shipping option will not normally be refunded.
We may wait to issue the refund until we receive the returned product or receive evidence that you have sent it back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.

Once the return has been approved and the refund has been processed by MADLEMON, the time required for the money to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.
Payments made through Stripe will be refunded through the applicable payment method used for the original purchase.

If your product arrives damaged, defective or does not conform to your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please include:

• Your order number
• A description of the problem
• Photos of the product and packaging where relevant

We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
Your statutory legal guarantee rights are not affected by this Returns & Refunds Policy.

If you need a different size or another product, please contact us.
Exchanges are subject to product availability.
Where an exchange is not possible, you may exercise your statutory rights where applicable and place a new order for the desired product.

Certain products may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where an exception under applicable law applies.
This may include:

• Personalised or custom-made products
• Certain sealed products that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once opened
• Perishable products
• Certain digital products or digital content where the applicable legal requirements for an exception have been met

If a specific product is subject to an applicable exception, this will be communicated before purchase where required by law.

Customers returning products from outside Italy are responsible for following the applicable return instructions and may be responsible for return shipping costs where required.

• Any customs duties or import charges that have already been paid may be subject to the rules of the relevant customs authority and may not be refundable by MADLEMON.

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies primarily to purchases made through madlemon.shop.
Purchases made directly at a MADLEMON physical store may be subject to different return conditions, except where mandatory legal rights apply.
